Efficie-N28-t is a urea based foliar Nitrogen fertiliser for increased yield, quality and nutrition… without the scorch!

With almost 100% uptake, it is delivered in a form the plant can absorb immediately. The molecular structure enables a slower phased release of N to the plant over 4-6 weeks. This prevents the plant from toxic shock and creating a ‘flush of growth’, although pleasing to the eye is in fact a weakening the plant cell walls.

The sticky nature of Efficie-N28-t makes it ideal to tank mix with fungicides, one pass using less fuel.

Efficie-N28-t uniqueness of slow phased release means almost 100% uptake over 4-6 weeks, making it incredibly efficient – hence the name!
If Nitrate is overly abundant in the soil, as it is when granular is applied, the plant has to take on board a lot of water to dilute it to prevent it’s toxic effects – ‘natures solution to pollution is dilution!’  Plant cell walls are put under incredible strain which makes them susceptible to pest and disease attack and lodging. The plant also uses up to 15% of it’s energy to convert the nitrate to useable nitrogen. So if energy (sunlight) is limiting there will be products of incomplete metabolism present and many of these have been shown to attract insect pests. 

Efficie-N28-t is a foliar nitrogen fertiliser that can be tank mixed with most plant protection products to be applied when the crop needs it. There is almost 100% uptake, zero scorch and none of the leaching or volatilisation associated with solid, granular fertilisers.

Many years of trials across most crops has shown that 7 kg of nitrogen from Efficie-N28-t (20 L/ha) will do the work of 40 kg of nitrogen from granular fertilisers (i.e. 116 kg ammonium nitrate or 87 kg of urea per hectare) giving the same yield and quality. Efficie-N28-t provides nitrogen in the form of a urea-polymer that breaks down over 4 to 6 weeks feeding the crop with the readily useable amide form.

Use

The high polymer content ensures there is little chance of scorch but to be certain:

  1. Do not apply tank mixes to a stressed crop
  2. Check the compatibility of ingredients being mixed
  3. Add Efficient-N28-T to a diluted solution when mixing
  4. Dilute with water accurately
  5. Apply at the correct growth stage
  6. Avoid applying in hot weather or direct sunlight
  7. Spray as soon as possible after mixing
