Aegir is a crushed Sea Shell Grit that buffers acidic soils. Ægir slowly returns the soils pH to neutral without ever over buffering. Soil Microbes are very sensitive to changes in soil pH and therefore a slower correction will maintain the microbial population rather than kill it off. Due to the structure of the Sea Shell Grit, Ægir will continue buffering the soil for up to three years. Ægir also contains a lot of trace elements and minerals needed to help create a healthy and fertile soil.
